Sometimes we need to connect two or more different devices
voltage level either via I2C SPI or regular serial. Examples between
arduino uno with 5V logic level connected to raspberry pi level
the voltage is 3.3V. To overcome this a resistor divider circuit can be used.
However the circuit is prone to noise if forced to stream
high speed data.
The solution is with this module a bidirectional level converter. This module can
converts 4 high side signals and 4 low side signals. For example the high side is
uno which has 5V voltage while on the low side is 3.3V raspberry. Connect
HV with 5V ; LV with 3.3V ; GND with GND. 4 pins on the high side
connected to uno and the 4 pins on the low side are connected to raspberries. Because
has 4 channels 2 pins can be used for I2C communication while 2 pins can be used for I2C communication
others can be used for Serial Tx/Rx.
With this module your 3.3V device will be protected without fear of burning smell
bro. This module can also be used for systems with a voltage level of 1.8V and
2.8V.
